I have covered the arches with clear polythene ready for the Winter hothouse, I will attach the end flabs that will act as a dore at each end, when the weather turns cooler, I have my new continental cucumber seedling up as it is, about 5-6 inches,
and the hothouse will produce better and sweeter crops of Tomatoes,
The black Russian tomatoes has been planted away from the hot house, they like cooler weather
where as the Truss Tomatoes like a more tropical climate

New addition to my garden 2 Turkish
brown fig trees, hope to get fruit next season.
the Broad Beans is up and doing well, I pick them very young and steamed the whole bean.
The veggie garden is doing well, I was concerned about all the rain we have had in the last couple of weeks as I had planted seedlings as well as seeds and Garlic seed bulbs, but all is up and looking well apart from one lot of the garlic.
Yesterday I watered all the new seedlings with Thrive to give them a kick start, it always works.

well this is my hanging garden from the arches!!
I have put some garden arches from Bunnings into my veggie garden, which has been very successful, I am in the process of introducing an other 4 arches (between heavy showers) for any thing climbing, like Beans,Peas etc as well as the cucumbers, I am very pleased with the result.
The garden is looking good and just about all the seeds i planted has germinated except the Parsley, I think we have had to much rain the last week for the parsley seeds, between 1 and 3 inches in the old scale every 24 hours, every thing is soaked.
Nothing to report from the kitchen
